چکیده

Complete skin reconstruction is a hierarchical, physiological assembly process involving healing of the epidermis, dermis, vasculature, nerves, and cutaneous appendages. To date, few works have reported complete regeneration, particularly lacking vascular structures hair follicles after full defects. In this study, hydrogel derived from secretion Andrias davidianus (SSAD) that features adhesiveness was used as bioactive scaffold to load micronized amnion (MA). The SSAD found promote migration proliferation stem cells human keratinocytes, well inhibit their apoptosis in vitro. rat full-skin defect model, regeneration appendages observed at wound area, achieving scarless healing. Transcriptome analyses further validated could positively regulate cell migration, proliferation, differentiation. These functions might be attributed abundant growth factors present SSAD. Synergized by delivery MA, loaded with MA achieve significantly better effect than or alone, providing simple yet highly effective means obtain complete, suggesting favorable potential for clinical translation.

Scarless wound repair: a human fetal skin model.

Animal studies demonstrate that the fetus heals cutaneous wounds by reformation of normal tissue architecture without scar formation. We have developed a new model to study human fetal skin wound healing. Grafts of human fetal skin placed onto athymic mice retain the morphologic features of normal development, although they differentiate at an accelerated rate when placed cutaneously compared t...

Clinical evaluation of a thin absorbent skin adhesive dressing for wound management.

OBJECTIVE This article assesses the use of BeneHold Thin Absorbent Skin Adhesive (TASA) wound dressings in a large UK primary care organisation. These wound dressings are thin (0.12 mm), breathable, transparent, and are able to absorb and retain wound exudate. This non-comparative evaluation was undertaken to explore the clinical advantages this differentiated combination of physical properties...

Advances in Scarless Wound Healing

Wound care is a perennial burden for the US healthcare system, costing an estimated $25 billion annually for the treatment of chronic wounds alone [1]. Problems surrounding scarring have also created a $12 billion market annually for treatment [2]. In the 1979 landmark study, Rowlatt et al. reported that human fetal wound healing did not cause scar formation [3]. Animal models were subsequently...

Leg ulcers and the Urgocell Non-Adhesive wound dressing.

The objectives of this clinical trial were to evaluate the efficacy and tolerance of the Urgocell Non-Adhesive (NA) dressing in the local management of venous or mixed leg ulcers. The study was a non-comparative, prospective, multicentre (15 centres) phase III, clinical trial. The studied population was composed of non-immunodepressed adults presenting a venous or mixed leg ulcer, uninfected, n...

Caffeic acid loading wound dressing: physicochemical and biological characterization.

AIM Caffeic acid has been described as active against bacteria commonly isolated from wound infections. However, its low stability and poor solubility reduce caffeic acid applicability as a pharmaceutical product. These parameters can be enhanced by complexation with cyclodextrin. The main goal of the present work was to incorporate caffeic acid on cyclodextrin-based hydrogels capable of contro...
